Akram Aid strives to operate on a 100% Donation Policy. Every penny of your donation will go to your chosen charitable project.

Donation Policy

We have a strict 100% Donation Policy and firmly believe that any amount you donate should go entirely to your chosen charitable cause. We try our utmost and go further by making the extra effort to ensure that all fees are covered via other means using our network of volunteers and guarantee that 100% of your donations are utilised on the project and its costs, for the cause you have selected. We do this for the sake of Allah SWT, knowing that we are ultimately accountable to the Almighty. The trustees strive to maintain transparency and accountability and ask for his Mercy & Compassion.

Is it really

100%?

Alhamdulillah yes, it is! All overheads are covered by Trustees and the Admin Fund in order to run charity operations smoothly, whether that be technical, marketing or otherwise, we do not deduct or use any of the money from all donations unless specifically given towards the Admin Fund. When we send any money abroad, all charges/fees are covered by our “Admin Fund”.

We try our utmost to utilise a multitude of ways to raise money for the running costs of operating our charity, whether that’s:

  • Income generated from donated items via auctions or outright sales
  • Teaching Online Classes via our sponsor – Recite With Us
  • Gift Aid – via HMRC
  • Food / Bake Sales
  • Others who wish to donate specifically for running costs to help us carry out the work we need to – to the best of our ability. Imagine, the people who donate to the running of the charity will gain the reward of everyone else that donates to a charitable cause, In’Sha’Allah

Akram Aid appreciates donations from all donors for charitable projects. We strive to spend wisely to the worthy cause that you have selected. Allah SWT accept your donations as an expiation and means of forgiveness in the hereafter.

All donations that are received with no reference will be allocated to a General Fund / Sadaqah and will automatically go towards the most needy cause for that period.

Please note that if the target of your selected cause has been reached, all excess donations towards that appeal will be allocated towards another worthy cause, selected by the Trustees after deliberating.

Help us with

running costs

By donating towards Administration costs, you will be helping Akram Aid maintain and adhere to its 100% Donation Policy. The money will be prudently spent to cover any volunteer expenses, international money transfer fees, create media, posters for projects and advertising needed to generate funds for all causes, in order to run our international charity.
