‘I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him will be in Paradise like this,’ (putting his index and middle fingers together). [Bukhari]
Alhamdulillah, Akram Aid supports orphans, helping safeguard their iman and providing them with a chance to live a comfortable childhood.
Islam is a way of life. There is no other religion that gives rights to the most vulnerable as Islam does. Islam teaches us to take care of our parents when they are old. Islam teaches us to take care of neighbours so much so that companions used to think that Allah will make neighbours one of the inheritors in wealth left by the deceased. Islam teaches us how to leave our house and even how to enter/leave the washroom. In short, Islam has given us instruction in every aspect of our lives.
One of the greatest things Islam teaches us is to take care of orphans. These children have lost their parents at an age where they needed guidance to live their lives. Akram Aid is trying to create a legacy through Orphan Support Programme so that they can live a better life.

Orphans in
Pakistan
According to the United Nations, there are more than 4.6 million orphaned children in Pakistan. The vast majority of these orphans are below the age of 17. Many of these orphaned children are either living in orphanages, madrasahs, on the streets or living with extended family who are so poor that they cannot feed enough to their own children let alone another child.
Right now, Akram Aid is supporting Orphans at an Orphanage in Pakistan.
Sponsor an Orphan for as little as £30 per month
This amount helps cover the child’s food, health and education costs. Your donation will help transform a life, costing little and ensures us a place in Paradise In’Sha’Allah.
Sponsoring an Orphan is an act of continuous charity i.e. Sadaqah Jariyah. It is a means that you (the donor) will continue receiving rewards for all the good that the sponsored orphan does.
Zakat, Sadaqah and Lillah are accepted for the Orphan Support programme.
