Appeal
Sa’d ibn Ubadah reported: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, my mother has died. Shall I give charity on her behalf?” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Yes.” I said, “Which charity is best?” The Prophet said, “A drink of water.”

Water &
Poverty
Research shows that water and poverty are directly linked. If you look around the world, you will see that all successful nations have one thing in common and that is, their public have access to clean drinking water from within their homes.
Poor access to water and insufficient sanitation affect the health of the poor, their food security, and their prospects for making a living. Asian subcontinent and Africa are home to nearly half a billion world’s poorest people – one in three people does not have safe drinking water and one in two lacks adequate sanitation.
With the help of Akram Aid water appeal, we can empower communities and help them come out of the poverty cycle. Donate for water, donate to water appeal.
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “The best charity is giving water to drink.”
